This week, it's been a tough week. I'm writing about the life of Mansa Musa, the richest person in the history of the world. He was king in Mali during the early 1300s and amassed a personal wealth of 400 billion dollars. I'm trying to figure out an antagonist for Mansa. I'm thinking it can be other tribes. Now I just have to do the research and find the antagonist. I know what the plot points will be. It's the scenes in between that I have to figure out. Who are the side characters? How do they factor in? How much am I sticking to historical fact? I've been slightly working on it since July, so it's not like I'm starting from scratch.
